I received my copies ofDalen and Gole: Scandal in Port Angus yesterday. It’s really exciting to see the final version, they are nice and heavy with the full 120 pages. The folks at Orca did a great job of laying out the cover and putting the book together. It should be hitting the book shelves any day now!

The first of the games is up on the site now. A simple 2d platformer game where you navigate Gole along the seaside while collecting fish. Play it here…
All the roughs and writing are done for the most part for Dalen & Gole: Scandal in Port Angus and I have moved on the last stage of the illustrations. This includes printing the pages out onto 11x 17 card in a very light blue. This allows me to ‘trace’ the rough images I have created with a paintbrush and lay down the final lines with india ink. The brush I use is a Series 7 #2 Winsor & Newton sable brush (pretty standard cartooning brush).
Welcome to the website of Dalen and Gole. Here is the finished cover, of the upcoming graphic Novel with Orca Book Publishers; Dalen & Gole:Scandal in Port Angus. Read the synopsis on the about page here!
Stay tuned for a posting with different rough options that were explored while creating this cover…
